Dr. Samuel Mugo graduated with a PhD in analytical chemistry from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada in 2006.
He took a two year NSERC postdoctoral position at Queens University, Ontario, Canada (2007-2008) where his focus was development of microfluidic mass spectrometry platforms for clinical diagnosis.
He has been an Assistant professor (analytical chemistry) at MacEwan University from 2008.
At MacEwan University, Dr. Mugo is involved in teaching and curriculum development of analytical chemistry courses, environmental chemistry, Physical Science Field skills and independent research courses.
He actively engages undergraduate students in his research.
Dr. Mugo research interests include: development of miniturized analytical platforms for environmental and food analysis; development of value added products (especially biolipids and biopolymers) from plant oils and other agricultural feedtocks; development of microfluidic devices for blood lipid analysis.

Dr. Hadj Hamma Tadjine received his engineer degree, D.E.A (Diplome d’Etude Approfondie), and the Third cycle degree, in Electrical engineering from the technical university of Blida in 1994, 1995 and respectively 1998. In 2004, he received his PhD in Computer science from the technical university of Clausthal Zellerfeld (Germany).
From 2000-2004, he was professor assistant at the technical university of Clausthal (Germany).
From 2004- 2006, he was professor assistant at CUTEC institute GmbH (Germany).
From 2006-2008, he was responsible by Hella Aglaia (Germany) for advanced driver assistance systems. From 2008- 2010, he was responsible by IAV GmbH (Germany) for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Park assistance systems.
Currently, he is responsible by IAV GmbH for technical strategy in the area of integrated safety and driver support. He has a track record of fundamental research on these topics which is documented by numerous publications by IEEE, VDI and SAE. He is the editor and editor in chief of different international journals.
He is fellow Member of IACSIT (International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology), and SCIEI (Science and Engineering Institute.
He is advisory board member by
SDIWC (The Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications), WSEA (World scientific and Engineering Academy and Society), SAI (Science and Information Organization), and

Ahmed El Oualkadi received B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics and electronics from the Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Tetuan, Morocco, in 1998 and 2000, respectively.
He received Ph.D. degree in electronics from the University of Poitiers, France, in 2004.
Currently, he is an assistant professor in the Abdelmalek Essaadi University, National school of applied sciences of Tangier, Morocco.
His main research interest is the analog IC, mixed-signal and RFIC design for wireless communication, embedded system applications and information technology.
He is author/co-author of more than 40 publications and communications in recognized journals and international conferences.
He is a member of European Microwave Association and an active IEEE volunteer member associated to the Circuits & Systems Society where he is a reviewer of IEEE circuits and systems journals (TCAS I & TCAS II) and many conferences on circuits and systems (ISCAS, ICECS).
He is a member of the scientific and technical committee of
WCECS (World Congress on Engineering and Computer Science) and
WASET (World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology),
and a member of the editorial board of Recent Patents on Electrical Engineering
